SERVING OUR COMMUNITY WITH A SMILE

Although we’re best known for our affordable HVAC and IAQ services here at AAA Cooling, our true passion is helping our community thrive! Since 1979, AAA Cooling has gone above and beyond to help families in need and support local organizations who have access to high-quality cooling, heating and IAQ equipment for their homes and businesses. To us, there’s nothing more important than making sure our friends, neighborhoods, and all community members have everything they need to remain safe and comfortable wherever they may be!

AAA Cooling Specialists, Arizona’s leader in heating and cooling, donated a brand new AC unit to Hope Women’s Center in honor of International Women’s Day. Hope Women’s Center is a trauma-informed nonprofit organization with 38 years experience encouraging, engaging and equipping women and teen girls in crisis. The organization offers programs and services that range from job training, support groups, life skills classes, mentoring, pregnancy testing, parenting classes, crisis counseling and material assistance. All of their services are free. AAA Cooling Specialists Cares is the company’s philanthropic arm, which the owners started to benefit local families and organizations in need.

AAA Cooling Specialists was one of three finalists for the small business Sterling Awards celebrating the people and organizations who have demonstrated excellence, innovation, and community stewardship, making Scottsdale one of the best cities to live in our nation.

Most recently, AAA Cooling helped Paula and Richard Charlebois, and their 13 adopted children beat the sweltering Arizona heat by donating and installing two air conditioning units. Paula and Richard are local foster parents who have provided little hearts a place to call home since 1998. This wonderful couple works hard to provide a comfortable living space for the 13 adopted children who still live at home with them. Unfortunately, the family fell on hard times when Richard was furloughed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. When their air conditioner broke down, and their home started to feel like the inside of an oven, the family didn’t have the funds for a replacement. The AAA Cooling team was more than happy to step in! Our manufacturer, Trane, donated two air conditioning units and our expert HVAC technicians installed them for free. It was a day’s worth of work, made more difficult still by a storm, but it was completely worth it to put a smile on the Charlebois’s faces. Watch the video above to learn more!
Most people can’t even go one day in the Arizona heat without a powerful air conditioning unit to keep them cool — the Nelson family waited seven months! Granted, those months fell during autumn and winter, but those who know the Arizona weather know that hot days can linger late into the fall and start early during spring. Sadly, the Nelson family couldn’t afford to have their old unit repaired or replaced during the off-season because John has recently lost his job and underwent an emergency procedure that racked up the family’s medical bills. Purchasing a new air conditioner was not high on their list of priorities until spring was right around the corner. We’re proud to say that we delivered a small miracle in the form of two air conditioning units (donated and installed pro-bono) to the Nelson family in the nick of time! We are so proud to be able to partner with the incredible non-profit organization that is Lutheran Social Services! They help all community members in need, from homeless individuals to senior citizens and even foster children.

In 2020, AAA Cooling had the honor of sponsoring the Lutheran Social Services annual luncheon, which had a great turnout! We also helped to raise money for the organization on our Facebook page and donated a new system to aid with their emergency services.

Nothing is more uplifting than getting to meet tomorrow’s future leaders and learn about their ambitions. As a sponsor for Archway Scottsdale and Scottsdale Preparatory Academy, AAA Cooling has had the opportunity and privilege to provide a helping hand to our local educational institutions. We look forward to working with more schools in the future.

This full time firefighter and student who was working towards is paramedic degree, was constantly repairing their 24-year old AC Unit. Jake and his wife Laurel, who teaches at Mt. Ridge High School, are now able to relax comfortably with their children at home, after AAA Cooling Specialists stepped in to help and donated a brand new unit to them.
